Two overworked clowns, Larry and Carrie, attend a dinner party at the house of Terry and his wife, Shari, an overzealous (and slightly racist) host who dominates the evening with her inane chatter. Over the course of the evening, and a few bottles of wine, hilarity ensues as secrets are revealed and Shari's perfect dinner party turns on her.
