The short film 'Am Fluss (At the river)' is a film that brings nature closer to the viewer. It actively ignores to show a present, hectic world. Therefor it gives the viewer time to see and time to listen, based upon a simple narrative: A young man goes fishing. We will never exactly know the reason, except the film does give some indications. However, the audience has the opportunity to imagine its own story. Nature and mankind, each for themselves and together.
