Silent Rooms tells the story of two young women, Eva (21) and Sylwia (22), originally from Slovakia and Poland respectively, who move to the UK on the promise of a better life. Their relationship, somewhere in between friends and lovers, goes through a crisis when Sylwia finds a new boyfriend, Simon. Rather than being a cheesy love triangle, the girls' relationship is portrayed in a subtle way, through everyday problems and special close moments. The film's originality lies in its focus on Britain as a multicultural environment.
