Alex, a young veteran, suffers a leg injury in war that leaves him temporarily disabled. After returning home, he struggles to connect with his old ties. Alex confronts the death of his mother, a dissolved romantic relationship, his estranged sister and most importantly, himself. The difficulties that arise after he realizes nothing is the same will change him forever.
