A workaholic bachelor finds his young neighbor out on the streets, refusing to talk or return home. Thinking she is going through a normal phase, he does his best to cheer her up. But when he discovers that her dilemma is much more sinister than he first assumed, he comes to a sad realization that he has no idea how to save her.
