In 'Mama', an adolescent girl awakes with the darkness of wanting to 'find' her mother. Her journey is filled with epic references - meeting with foretelling strangers, traveling to distant lands, a clairvoyant bird guide and a fateful boat ride. Her quest ends with tragedy and finally 'finding' her mother. Film is composed of re-constructed robotic childrens' toys, sets, storylines, music and choreography all of my own creation. I interact (or play) out the stories through my modified characters in front of the camera.
