Francis McGee is a life assurance salesman, he deals in coffins. His boss hates him, his wife hates him, the clients he visits hate him, and he hates him. Francis is constantly alone, so decides to visit his family whose outlook on life is to take your chances when they come. With this in mind, Francis starts to think that he need not be so lonely anymore. He tries in his bumbling way to hit on women, only to fail. A familiar name appears on his weekly visits, a girl he knows from way back. What Francis tries to keep from his wife however is too much for him when she thinks she's figured it out...
