Ice-cream is the story of Maryam who is struggling to make things work!
Maryam, a young woman in her 30s, and an editor to a literary magazine in Tehran has recently lost her job and apartment. She moves in with her grandma to make things work, as she gets to know Mohammad, another journalist who works as a real estate agent, since his newspaper's been shut down. The conflict with grandma gradually escalates as she starts to work night shifts in a restaurant. Grandma thinks it's time for her to get married. Eventually Grandma gives her the ultimatum to leave within the next three days...
