It's a story about a burnt-out Czech physicist, Antonin, who arrives to West Virginia to fight for the custody of his 7-year-old daughter, whom he has never seen before. When Antonin realizes that he is loosing the battle, he discovers that the situation isn't as hopeless as it appears to be.
