Boys with broken ears is an intimate look at the hopes and struggles of a handful of young Iranians wrestlers as they prepare for the biggest event of their lives; the world championship in Hungary. it's a story about Iranian Society told through the hopes and aspirations of young athletes. With unprecedented access to the national youth team, the film follows 5 characters from deprived areas of Iran. despite being selected amongst millions for the national team, they are confronted with the social and economical realities of their country.
