Amy's father passed away 12 months ago. 9 months ago she unsuccessfully tried to commit suicide. During that time she was engaged to her former fiancé and current employer Bill. They ended the engagement because Bill does not get along with her college best friend Jason among other reasons. Amy began dating Ashton 6 months ago. Amy's other college friend and co-worker Rebekkah begins to suspect there is something going on romantically between Ashton and Jason. Amy's worst fears are confirmed; Ashton and Jason have formed more than a friendship, and in the process of Amy confronting and processing this she realizes she is much stronger than she thought. She is also able to process her father's death and finally move forward in her life.
