After Zach is dumped by his girlfriend, he is reunited with his former best friend Pete who vows to cheer him up. After a night of drinking, breaking into his ex's house and accidentally shooting an intruder, the two look for help from any means necessary. When Zach's ex girlfriend is kidnapped, he comes clean about owing the mob 20k. Pete decides to help him and get her back even though it might mean losing his best friend all over again.
