Evelyn is an elderly woman who has achieved success in life as an author of original quotes and sayings. Her latest endeavor, to answer the meaning of life with one simple quote, is proving impossible. Enter chaos: a young, confident, and slightly aloof twenty-something man who finds himself accidentally stepping inside of her world. As these two unlikely individuals interact, a powerful juxtaposition of many of life's deepest questions about life, love, fear, age, success, and death are explored as they observe the person standing opposite them. This simple human interaction helps Evelyn to understand her own existence on the vast journey through the string of time.
