In the year 2053 the entire civilized world fell to ruin and each person had to find their own way to survive. Some moved in packs, others fortified strongholds waiting for a better time and some chose to do it alone. Barely any of the survivors can remember what actually happened and the ones that can have been driven insane by the knowledge. Nobody knows if it was the fault of the human race that brought down the world or whether it was some factor beyond human comprehension. All that is known is the event was called 'the blackout'.
