Gentrified

Gentrified: a new web series is a satire on and a comedic approach to gentrification. The story is the journey of Brittany and Rachel, two preppy and privileged girls from Connecticut who move out of their parents' houses for the first time to live the NYC life. Most of the action takes place in Brooklyn as the two seek out the best possible neighborhood. Without having the success of finding their perfect spot, deeming Williamsburg too 'hip' and Park Slope too 'suburban', they enlist the help of their friend and real estate broker, Kennedy. This sassy character sends the girls on somewhat of a wild goose chase, as these annoyingly affluent, yet charmingly clueless girls try to gentrify their own neighborhood, as they see fit. With a constantly moving and ever-changing environment, each and every character is played by one of the 4 cast members in the style of SNL. Gentrified truly highlights New York, including the good, the bad, and the funny.
