Earth is about to experience a meteor shower of unprecedented scale. In an attempt to get a better view, a couple embark on a leisurely hike into the mountains. Jack's obsession with the shower reveals underlying strain in the relationship. Kate soon realises he's not who she thought he was. Tensions rise, the skies light up... and they don't know what's about to hit them.
