Nicola Bicchieri, an unknown narcissistic Italian director and screenwriter, moves to New York City to sell his screenplay to NBC. He lives in a basement in Brooklyn with his 4 roommates: Zi Mu, AJ, Tatiana, and last but not least, Casper, a mysterious entity that lives in the basement.
