When Anna puts food on the stairs to the attic, it disappears. So do the blanket and her friend's green coat. At first, she is afraid, when she hears noises coming from the attic, but soon her curiosity wins over. As an unseen observer she immerses herself in an alien life, until the invisible line of privacy is abruptly crossed.
