'Endurance' is a drama that explores the struggle and depths of a young woman's life when she is convicted and sentence to 25 years plus in prison. Lyric Douglass, a daughter, a mother, and wife deals with verbal and physical abuse at the hands of her abusive husband Michael, all the while trying to raise her beautiful young daughter, Morgan. With no where and any one to turn to, she is the first African American woman in the state of Texas to have her trial overturned by claiming self-defense and abiding by the 'Stand Your Ground' law.
