Scarlett and the Man

After being raped by her abusive boyfriend and falling pregnant, Scarlett decides to run away from home, trying to hide her pregnancy from the family becomes too much. She decides to find solace in a long forgotten place she used to go on family holidays, a small seaside town. Here she seeks refuge in a beach hut, which becomes the perfect hiding place to keep the pregnancy from the world, however she is not alone. A troubled man frequents the shoreline, he has nothing left to live for, having tragically lost his wife and child some years previously. He becomes disconnected from the world around him and visits the beach daily with only a knife for company, hoping each day will be the day he finally ends his suffering. The film follows the emotional journey where these two contrasting characters meet.
