Is there such a thing as a memory of something or someone that one has never experienced personally. Do individuals that never actually experienced a particular event, relationship, an embrace, sadness, happiness possess memories of these things from what they've heard, seen, imagined, and are these memories legitimate? Are their fabricated memories maybe more legitimate than those who experienced something? This film delves into the stories and images accumulated from a family. Through 4 short stories, a sketch of this family as a whole unfolds. The narration of these stories work in counterpoint with manipulated home movies to form a collective portrait of the family.
