'Station/Path.' is a prosaic journey transiting the pathology ward and its routine-like work processes. Doctors meet the patients, crossing the section, a path from the up to the below. A highly complex apparatus. The scientific gaze of the experts examines the human body in its parts. A machine-world, an enclosed microcosm, a high tech factory in a medical laboratory. The pathology ward as a heterotopy of the dealing with health, sickness, life and death. The organism is being reduced to its functions. And yet one presumes a human life and fate behind numbers, cells, lines, files and the medical language. The organism is its functionality. It's the portrait of a special place and its special inhabitants, where emotion seems to have no space.
