Claude & Claudette is a reflection about life and death through the story of a couple whose life takes a turn as a husband gets diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. The documentary, filmed over a period of four years, takes us through the evolution of this terrible disease through an intimate story of a family. Although it testifies with lucidity of the cruel reality of those affected by Alzheimer's disease, C & C comes out as ode to life through humorous portrayals of aging. This independent movie takes a look at an issue that most of us face sooner or later in life: how shall we take care of our loved ones once they are no longer able to take care of themselves?
