'Serotiny' is a short experimental narrative exploring the coexistence of pain and healing using the imagery of plants which can only bloom after a forest fire. The primary inspiration for the film came from my experience living in the Newtown CT community after December 14, 2012, and is dedicated to Sandy Hook Elementary School.
