The Middle Distance

The Middle Distance is the true story of Canadian world class runner Charles Philibert-Thiboutot. After the death of his best friend, Charles must choose between running in the Olympic trials in Calgary or attending his friend's funeral. He must then explain his decision to the parents of his late friend.
