Salamander tells the story of two girls who return to their childhood home to pack after the death of their mother. The house takes on a life of it's own as the girls pack away old objects and release old memories. When the girls find a salamander, they recall an old legend in which salamanders are reborn from fire and they too must find a way to start anew and shed their old fears.
