Joel (Leigh Gathercole), a bitter, isolated blind man is reunited with his sister, Maggie (Lee McClenaghan), for the first time in six years. A cold distance is felt between the two siblings - Maggie is a successful, confident doctor; Joel is stricken with self-pity and jealousy after his accident. When a great secret is revealed, a psychological battle begins between the two, turning Joel's warped reality on its head.
