The Terminal shows a glimpse of a possible future where the brain of every person on the planet is directly connected to the internet, allowing instantaneous sharing of conversation, experiences and information with no need for computers - or even speaking. We watch four friends at a dinner party and discover that even in a beautiful new world of peace brought by limitless sharing of thoughts, prejudice and fear still lie just under the surface.
