Heroic is the tale of an 18 year old boy who, inspired by his obsession of comics, takes to the streets of Brooklyn to fight crime and protect the innocent. Enraptured by the spirit of the 'Hero', he boldly sets his life aside to be the change he wants to see in the world. Reality soon sets in as he sacrifices his mind, body, and spirit to a seemingly impossible ideal. Day after day we see the impacts of violence upon him as he returns home. As weeks turn to months the boy's spirit erodes, body and costume slowly torn apart. Then, in our Hero's darkest hour, his ultimate battle begins...
