Without a Rope is the story of a climber named Rick, who is plagued by feelings of failure in the shadow of his brother Porter's climbing prowess. However, when the their plane crashes while returning from a climbing expedition, Porter is severely injured, and his life hinges upon Rick's ability to climb a daunting cliff in search of help, all without a rope.
