'Insomnia' is the story of a girl who, quite simply, cannot sleep. She meets a stranger on the street, with whom she reluctantly shares a night in her nocturnal world. 'Insomnia' is not a love story, but it does examine isolation and the human impulse to connect with somebody, anybody, just to feel like a real person again. Sometimes one connection is all that it takes to find peace.
