The Spanish Civil War is coming to a bloody end. A Fascist prisoner and young Republican soldier's lives intertwine in a meditative short, exploring the fear of death. The next day, they are taken to a forest clearing to be executed by Santi and a group of hidden Republican soldiers. Miraculously, Rafael escapes and attempts to find shelter in a ditch. Accidentally revealing himself, Rafael is then discovered by Santi, who must confront his fears and make a choice that will change his life forever.
