Two stateless refugees, a brother and sister, speaking an unknown language, are trapped in quarantine where they are constantly monitored. Caught between the trauma of parental loss and an uncertain future, they are coping with isolation and haunted by their inner fears. When confronted by a pair of strange tutors, the sister makes a sacrifice, while the brother drifts into a parallel reality. This nightmarish tale draws its force from the two leads, both debutantes and once child refugees, who transformed their traumas into the invented language of unspoken memories.
