Isabella finds, by chance, an old suicide letter lost in the basement; it's unfinished. The prisoner, Claire, claims to be innocent and regrets the fact that her sister believed in the conviction and abandoned her. The sad ending for that woman disturbs Isabella's mind, she becomes involved and anxious for answers.
