This film is a mixture of live action and 2D animation. It's a unique 6-minute documentary film. Many people have a misconception as to what dyslexia is. They think it's just mixing up letters. The reality is the language portion of the dyslexic brain doesn't work properly. The electrical signals aren't getting to the language section of the brain, which causes children and adults to not be able to read, write, speak and comprehend what is spoken to them. Depending on the dyslexic's severity will depend on how much of the signal is cut off. Dyslexia: Word Blindness, gives a brief overview of what dyslexia is and for a moment shows the audience how a dyslexic sees a printed page.
