In the summer of 2013 three individuals took great risks to stand up against the full force of the US government and expose corruption. Their actions have sparked international debates and protests, making an undeniable impact on the world. Based on the lives of Edward Snowden, Michael Hastings, and Chelsea (formerly Bradley) Manning, three stories are interwoven to explore a question: who are we, and what truths do we hold to be self evident? This film offers an intimate look into the lives of these very public figures who have been both celebrated as heroes and charged as traitors.
