A teenager girl finds herself ignored at home, and with the college rejection letters piling up, she 'kidnaps' an estranged family member to help her ignore her problems. She ultimately realizes she has to grow up and find her own way out. While it's unfortunate her parent's are often absent, the world isn't always fair and she must realize this to move herself along in growing up.
