Julie, a struggling writer, is obsessed with finding out what happened to her friend Helen during a weekend getaway in a creepy old farmhouse. Convinced that Helen's new book was guided by ghostly inspiration, Julie invites her graduate-school friends back to the farmhouse for one more visit. This time, Julie wants to be the one chosen to write a book, and she will do anything in her power to make that happen.
