A Story Like Mine

Everybody has a story. Stories like mine is a documentary about a New Orleans Inner-city theatre teacher who, after surviving her devastating childhood, meets twin boys who reveal their own story to her and it's like looking in the mirror. Their story strikes her so hard that she commits to do for the brothers what she couldn't do for her own sister but a hurricane sends them 500 miles apart and a brutal attack and unjust imprisonment delays their return home. In this eight-year journey of bringing the teen brothers back, the teacher unexpectedly discovers the missing pieces of the childhood she survived. Now can she help them do the same?
