Peter is at a juncture where nothing in his life makes sense; Emily is at the same point in her life. 'The Ballad of Peter & Emily' looks into the lives of two people recently out of college, who are afraid to move out of their comfort zones, both at work and in their relationship. They have fallen into a pattern of inaction thinking that life will slow down, but they will soon realize that life slows for no one.
