Ignatius is not your typical teenager. After rejecting an offer to study at the University of Cambridge in order to pursue his real passion for deer hunting, he is shunned by his family and friends and spends his days in the woods endeavouring to prove himself. His sights are set on a particularly elusive and majestic deer he has affectionately named 'Patrice'. But just as Ignatius edges closer to achieving his goal, fate intervenes in the form of a female hunter who changes everything Ignatius knew about the game and everything he thought he knew about himself.
