In spring 2007, Christine Weissbarth and Franz Indra accompany German exchange students on their journey to Burkina Faso on behalf of the Interfilm Academy. Although being one of the poorest nations on earth, the capital Ouagadougou is regarded as the cultural center of West Africa. So we learn not only about the political situation of Burkina Faso and experience animism in the country, but also see peaceful coexistence of Christianity and Islam. The participants of the Interfilm workshop 'Jeunesse et Cinema' also visit FESPACO, the biggest Sub-Saharan film festival.
