Ten year old Alex lives in the childish world of imagination with his best friend, Fluffy, a stuffed bear. When Antoinette the sultry young French woman moves into Alex's home as an exchange student, he finds himself instantly in love. From Alex's childlike view of the world, he has a shot at wooing Antoinette to be in a romantic relationship. Alex pulls out all the stops to show his love - not letting age, competing males or his maturity stand in his way. The film captures the inner childhood world of Alex and the adult world of Antoinette, and shows what happens when the two collide. Along the way, Alex learns valuable lessons about life and love.
