How many days out of a woman's cycle can she get pregnant? All of them? Most of them? A few of them? With humor, whim, and a little revival of sex ed, Miscontraceptions explores my journey off the pill into the Fertility Awareness Method. I investigate where this method fits in society and education. Contrary to popular belief, FAM is not the rhythm method. In the film, I go on a quest to dispel misconceptions about using FAM as birth control and ask the crucial question 'Why don't more people know about this?' I encourage more dialogue, choices, and education on family planning and fertility.
