Process is a documentary that intentionally blurs the lines between fact and fiction, investigating the emotions involved int he act of creating, exposing the process of its own production. The film highlights and compares the arguable fragility of the craft of making within the contemporary landscape, with that of the film onto which that craft has been photographically rendered. It explores endangered mediums, their materiality, the redundancy they face due to the rise of new media and planned obsolescence, and questions what this means to us a s makers.
