A female clone from the future explains all the post-apocalyptic history of mankind, since 2003, the year when the first human clone was born. Cloning humans was banned because of a small budget film that showed all the consequences of cloning. She was part of that movie, she was the lead actress. The group who made the movie was somehow disappeared back in 2004, but their final movie managed to reach the public. The movie was called 'Planet Of The Clones', a science fiction movie about an experiment of human cloning that failed. The scientists who made that experiment were sending the human 'garbage' to a specific planet to meet their natural death. The deformed clones managed to survive and to send them a message, in which they were seeking revenge. The female clone tries to remember what exactly has happened during those shooting days. Some masked commandos captured the whole group back then, but the production continued afterwards. Was that part of the movie or reality? The girl obviously fails to remember every single detail. The viewer gets lost inside her mind. She cannot tell the difference between real and fake and tries hard to put things in the right order. She remembers many things that happened backstage and the fact that the director managed to give a copy to a weird guy. Clones (Klonismos) is an experimental science fiction snuff movie that intentionally confuses the viewer. It starts as a campy cheap science fiction thriller and slowly turns into a very realistic found-footage movie, which manages to provide a few shocks, especially in the end.
