The Jar Candle deals with the metaphysical aspects of dreams. In this short film, a woman dreams about herself during three stages of her life (adolescence, mid-life, and old age). This dream-within-a-dream-within-a-dream prompts abject responses and frightening revelations. The Jar Candle is a puzzle box which begs the question: who is dreaming who? The present film avoids narrative linearity by intentionally collapsing past, present, and future, and by deconstructing boundaries which define reality.
