An eccentric young man idealizes women only to be disappointed, until a girl comes along who lives up to the ideal. He constantly fantasizes about women on the subway, but not in a sexual way - he imagines the life they might build together. A hopeless romantic who has watched too many Woody Allen movies, he tries to behave 'normally' and get this girl to like him and get himself to continue to like her.
