Halfway to Concord is the story of Ben Karing, a Boston colonial tour guide struggling to care for his father's dementia. Playing the part of Benjamin Franklin at work to pay his family's bills, Karing finds his alter ego to be no less useful at home. Between protecting his young sister from his father's abuses and getting forced into existential character work by a tireless Abigail Adams impersonator, Karing must decide whether he can live by his namesake's simple dictum, 'Honesty is the best policy.' Toeing the line between family drama and dark comedy, the film explores using the past to stitch together the present.
