Captain Marvel

Billy Batson (played by Rich Hagopian) is a newscaster. His latest story is of a giant asteroid on a direct course for Earth, meaning certain death for all. Batson shouts the word 'Shazam!', instantly changing into the the caped-crusader Captain Marvel (played by Don Glut). The Captain springs into action by flying into space and destroying the asteroid. On his return to earth, crooks spy the Captain changing back into Batson. Seeing an opportunity, the criminals seize Batson, binding and gagging him before they shoot him. But Batson is able to free himself from the gag. He shouts 'Shazam!' and instantly becomes Captain Marvel. He quickly takes care of the first crook, and then chases the remaining two who have fled the scene in their car. The Captain is able to stop the vehicle, knock out the two crooks, and then flies away.
